Regenerative Medicine & Joints
Regenerative medicine uses your own body to support healing. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and Regenexx® procedures, along with joint injections and hyaluronic acid (gel) injections, can ease joint and tendon pain and help you stay active.

Overview
What is regenerative medicine?
PRP is made from a small sample of your own blood. It is spun to concentrate platelets, which carry growth factors that help repair tissue. It is then injected into the injured joint, tendon or ligament under ultrasound or X-ray guidance.
Regenexx® uses advanced lab processing of your own cells for joints and the spine. For arthritis we also offer steroid joint injections for the shoulder, hip and knee, and viscosupplementation (hyaluronan gel) to cushion the knee.
Regenerative Medicine & Joints is available at our offices in The Woodlands and Liberty, TX, performed by board-certified specialists who explain every step before you decide.
